A non-shaded sketch commission for ~Leah-Tribal. I haven't drawn Peeta and Katniss in a while, and I kinda miss it.

Here is the quoted request from ~Leah-Tribal about this picture :
We see plenty of Peeta comforting Katniss after a nightmare...but I've seen few of the opposite...of Katniss comforting him. Although he's technically her rock, we know that there's been times where he too has suffered...many times, especially in Mockingjay.

I'm picturing late night or early morning...Where Peeta's been hit with nightmares that have brought on bad flashbacks. Obviously, he doesn't thrash about and try to kill her anymore...since this scene would take place right after Mockingjay...after they've grown close and she's admitted love to him...as they continue to heal together.

But he'd be in a frightful state for the moment as the flashbacks plagued him like so many times before...I visualize Katniss partially sitting up in bed, her back against the headboard...Peeta's head resting against her chest or just below her chin as she's trying to soothe him. Probably murmuring, "It's not real...It's not real."

So there you go, I hope you'll like it! I'm sorry it took so long.
